Upon your arrival at Cochin airport, our team members will meet you and assist you in smooth transfer to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit St. Francis Church- the oldest church in India, known for housing the mortal remains of Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama and Dutch Palace- Built by Portuguese in 1555 AD. Today, the Dutch Palace houses a portrait gallery of rajas of Cochin and is best known for exhibiting wonderful mythological murals in India.
A cultural dance drama by Kathakali Dance performers will mark the climax of the day. It is a highly stylized traditional Indian dance drama originated in the southern part of the country; it is noted for its attractive make-up of characters, elaborate costumes, detailed gestures and well-defined body movements.
After this delightful evening entertainment, you will be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Cochin – Munnar
Post breakfast, you will embark on a drive to the serene valley of Munnar; the 130 kilometer highway from Cochin to Munnar is all studded with the breathtaking views of Cardamom hills and tea plantations. This takes around 3 hours of driving and is a beautiful voyage itself. Munnar is one of the most sought after destinations in Kerala, known for its untouched natural beauty. Upon reaching Munnar, we will check in to the hotel to relax and unwind.
Later you will visit Anamudi peak, which is the highest peak in south India; we continue our tour with a visit to old Munnar town and the Mattupetty Dam. Mattupetty Dam is a storage dam and a great picnic spot with a beautiful lake in the backdrop. One can enjoy various kinds of boating in the lake here, such as speed launch, slow speedboat and motorboats. The place is an ideal spot for trekking, owing to its lush green tea plantations, rolling grasslands and cascading waterfalls.
After a sightseeing tour to the city of Munnar, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
On the 4th day of the trip, you will head towards the sleepy backwater region of Alleppey. The distance between Munnar and Alleppey is around 180 kilometers which can be covered in about 4 hours. Alleppey is also fondly referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’. On arrival in Alleppey, check in to your houseboat to witness the natural treasure troves of this region from close quarters. The views of lush paddy fields, charming hamlets and rice barges while sailing through these palm-fringed backwaters is a heavenly experience. Also, gorge upon the traditional food of Kerala served on the houseboat.

On the 5th day of the trip, you will be heading for Kumarakom. Set on the serenely beautiful Vemband Lake that is studded with numerous rice barges, Kumarakom offers beautiful scenery that is a feast for the eyes. If you seek a refuge in the lap of nature, Kumarakom is certainly your best bet. Enjoy the breathtaking sights and scenes which include countless coconut palm trees, never ending verdant paddy fields, meandering lagoons and exotic avifaunal species.
On reaching Kumarakom check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to unwind in the comforts of your hotel room.

Post breakfast, head towards the Kovalam beach which is around 175 kilometers from Kumarakom and entails a drive of around 4 hours. Upon arrival at the hotel check in there, and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
During your stay at the beach, you may choose to unwind at the tranquil beach of Kovalam, indulge in a pampering Ayurvedic massage therapy, partake in an array of adventure water sports, or soak in the sun.
