Kolkata - Namkhana - Sunderbans
Set on the vast delta formed by the confluence of winding rivers- Padma, Brahmaputra and Meghna, Sunderbans, world’s largest mangrove belt is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apart from being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sunderbans is widely recognized as one of the largest Royal Bengal tiger Reserves in the world as well as numerous other wildlife species such as cheetals, wild boars, dolphins, otters, monitor lizards, sunbirds, herons and green-bea eaters. Step aboard Sunderbans Cruise and sail through the world of elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. If you are lucky enough, you might catch a glimpse of elusive tiger swimming while cruising through the streams of Sunderbans.
Upon your arrival at Kolkata airport, our tour representative will greet you and assist you in smooth transfer to the Millennium Park Jetty. By afternoon, the cruiser starts sailing across the beautiful river Ganges towards Sunderbans. Soak in the beauty and breeze of the tranquil Ganges and behold the numerous heritage sites passing by. The cruiser will anchor at Namkhana, a fisherman’s cover and Gateway to Sunderbans. All meals and overnight stay on board.
On the second day, guests will sail towards the east to witness the lifestyle of the local fisherman and rich biodiversity from close quarters. As you enter Sunderbans, take a brief excursion to Lothian Island and Bhagabatpur Crocodile project. Later the vessel will anchor at the confluence of River Bidya and River Malta and visit some exotic Sunderban islands- Nethidopani/Dobanki, Sajnekhali via small creek boats. Walk through the dense mangrove forests to glimpse wide range of mangrove species and spot exotic wildlife and avifaunal species.
On the third day, enjoy a delectable brunch and embark on a sightseeing trip to village Bali for meeting with villagers and experience their lifestyle. The day also includes visit to some other exotic sights followed by overnight halt at Sunderbans.

Today you will sail back to Kolkata by cruising through the confluence of river Rupnarayan and Damodar, Diamond Harbor Port and industrial town of Haldia. Post breakfast, guests will be transported to the Kolkata airport by afternoon.
