Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Mumbai

On arriving in Mumbai, meet our representative who helps you with an assisted to the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You can explore the nearby surroundings on-foot, can shop at the market, gorge on street food, interact with the locals and so on. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2

Mumbai

After morning breakfast, leave the hotel to go on a full day city tour, visiting the prime attractions of Mumbai. The list of tourist attractions includes Elephanta caves, Juhu beach, and the Gateway of India. The evening is scheduled for visiting various sets of a typical film studio. Enjoy the sights of different sets such as a palace or a village, see then crew members making arrangements or the cameras mounted for shooting and more.  After dinner, get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Mumbai - Goa (By flight)

On the 3rd day of the tour, post breakfast, get on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight for Goa. Once you arrive in the beach state of Goa, meet a Luxo India representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in indulging in the activities of your interest. You can explore the nearby beaches or the attractions, you can taste the local renditions, interact with the locals and so on.

Day 4

Goa

Day 4 after breakfast is to explore North and South Goa. You visit the popular Fishing villages, which are an important part of the rich cultural heritage of Goa. Relish authentic Goan food, enjoy the sight of fishermen indulged in their daily activities in an amazing village setting, marvel at the skills of the local artisans and attend a performance by the local dancers with their band. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 5

Goa

Post breakfast, the day is for relaxing at the beach. You can partake in adventure activities, can simply relax, can enjoy a leisure walk, can enjoy food and drinks at the beach shacks etc. the evening is fixed for exploring Panjim and Old Goa. During dinner time, relish Bar-be-cue seafood at the beach under the starlit sky. If you want you can cook your food over a camp fire while guitar is being played in the background by a local musician. Stay overnight.

Day 6

Goa- Belgaum- Badami

On day 6 of the tour, have your breakfast and begin your road trip to Badami. On the way, visit Belgaum. Belgaum is a perfect place to see the marriage of traditionalism and modernity. The old town area and the other modern side are completely in contrast with each other. During sightseeing, you visit Jama Masjid, Jain temple and the well-known Kamala Bastes. The other two visits are to the Ananthashayana and the Kapileshwar Temple. Arrive in Badami. Check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7

Badami

Have your breakfast and leave the comforts of your room for exploring the town of Badami. Formerly known as Vatapi, it was the royal capital of the Chalukya rulers. Enjoy several sites where art and history merge into each other.  Explore the temples, rock-cut caves, inscriptions, forts, gateways and more. Visit the rock-cut cave temples dating back to 600 and 700 AD and the Bhutanatha group of temples, sandstone temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva.  These temples are erected on the banks of Agastaya Lake, believed to have medicinal properties. Do not miss visiting these Badami inscriptions of the 9th and the 10th century, written in Kanada as well as Sanskrit. Stay overnight in Badami.

Day 8

Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet

After relishing breakfast on the 8th day of the tour, hit the road to Hospet. On the way, you stop to explore two of the well-known sights that are quite popular for their history-Hos Aihole and Pattadakal. The village of Aihole, known as the ‘Cradle of the Indian Architecture’, was the capital of Chalukya dynasty between the 6th and 8th century. A popular tourist attraction,. It houses several ancient temples. Pattadakal, located on the left banks of the River Malaprabha, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Under the Chalukya rulers during the 7th and 8th century, this village has a total of 10 temples, 9 Hindu temples and 1 Jain sanctuary. Once you reach Hospet, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay in Hospet.

Day 9

Hospet

In the morning post breakfast on the 9th day of the tour, leave the comforts of your room to explore Hospet- a beautiful site. It lies in close proximity to Hampi (around 13 km), which is quite popular for being the site of the Vijayanagar Empire of the medieval times. Formerly known as Pampakshetra of Kishkindha, Hampi is located on the southern banks of the Tungabhadra River. It is home to a number of architectural marvels. Overnight in Hospet.

Day 10

Hospet- Hassan

After breakfast on day 10 in Hospet, hit the road to go to Hassan. You arrive in Hassan by the afternoon. Complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. After freshening-up, leave for an excursion tour to Belur, the early capital of the Hoysala Empire and Halebid, the 12th century capital of the Hoysalas- an amazing supporter of Hoyasala architecture. The Chennakeshava temple in Belur, dedicated to Lord Vishnu is an extremely beautiful one. The Halebid temple complex is real architectural heritage. Overnight stay in Hassan.

Day 11

Hassan - Shravanabelagola - Hassan

Once you have your breakfast on day 11 of your tour, get ready to visit Shravanabelagola, around 51 km south- east of Hassan. This place is quite famous for being one of the most prominent religious centers for the followers of Jainism. Here, you visit the 17 m high monolith structure of Lord Gomatesvara or Bahubali, which is the world’s tallest monolithic statue. The rest of the day is free for indulging in activities of your interest. Stay overnight in Hassan.

Day 12

Hassan- Madikeri

Today, post breakfast, you begin driving to Madikeri, also known as the ‘Scotland of India’. Once you reach, check-in at your pre-booked hotel and freshen-up. After sometimes, leave your hotel for visiting the major tourist attractions of Madikeri including the Madikeri Fort, Nisargadhama-a beauty with a pleasant climate and Abbey Falls, a famous tourist spot.  Stay overnight.

Day 13

Madikeri- Mysore

On day 13, after breakfast, begin driving Mysore. On arrival, check -in your pre-booked hotel. After freshening-up, begin the city tour of Mysore that includes the Mysore Palace, also known Amba Vilas Palace-the official residence of the Wodeyars - the erstwhile royal family of Mysore and the Chamundi hills, forming a backdrop of the city around 13 kms away. Here, you visit the well-known Nandi bull, around a 4.8 m high monolith statue.  The evening is scheduled for exploring the Brindavan Garden with the colorful musical fountains. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 14

Mysore

Take a city tour of Mysore today. Visit Sri Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery, an art gallery in the Jag Mohan Palace, comprising of a collection of superb paintings. Later, in the day, visit the Somnathpur village, that has a beautiful star-shaped 13th century temple, a real architectural gem of the Hoyasala architecture. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 15

Mysore- Srirangapatnam- Bangalore

On the 15th day of the tour, the morning is free for leisure activities. In the afternoon, you begin your road journey to Bangalore. En-route, you visit Srirangapatnam, the capital of the warrior King, Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. Srirangapatnam is home to a number of splendid monuments. After reaching Bangalore, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay.

Day 16

Bangalore – Mumbai - Departure

Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a city tour of Bangalore. The excursion of the day includes a visit to the Vidhan Soudha- (State’s Legislature and Secretariat), Nandi Temple, also known as the Bull temple and more. In the evening, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Mumbai. Once you arrive in Mumbai, move to the hotel to change and freshen-up. After dinner, get an assisted transfer to the Mumbai Airport, to board another flight for your forward destination.
